Another year is just barely starting! Many people view the beginning of a new year as a fresh start or a time to change. We continue the tradition of declaring a New Years Resolution in order to achieve a certain goal.  Normally, this goal is one which takes time to achieve. Common ones include:  weight loss goals, better grades, stronger work ethic, or many others.  However, I couldn’t think of one for myself this year, at least not one that I can achieve in a year.

Throughout my life, I think I keep constant goals.  I love that many people see the start of a new year as a fresh opportunity to conquer a fear or reach a long awaited goal.  However, we shouldn’t stop after a year.  Keep going!  Never quit.  Fight for your dreams, no matter what they are. I think each year should be seen as another stepping stone to your ultimate goal(s).

Think of each year as taking one step, and setting smaller goals to slowly get to where you want to be.  This will ultimately make reaching your goal easier and more efficient.  Take each MINUTE of each HOUR of each DAY of each MONTH of each YEAR one step at a time.  Great things take time.
